FAQs

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Our dress code is Western Chic/ Classy Cowboy: think elevated Western with a polished twist. Cowboy boots, hats, and Western details are welcome when paired with cocktail or semi-formal attire. Our celebration will be outdoors and may cool off as the sun sets, so we recommend bringing a stylish jacket, shawl, or coat. Boots and block heels are encouraged for the terrain. To honor tradition, we kindly ask that guests please avoid wearing white or ivory attire.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. Please plan accordingly for grass and cooler evening temperatures. Some outdoor heaters will be provided.

Question

Is there a Welcome Reception?

Answer

Yes! Mike and Chris Wood will be hosting a California Welcome Reception the evening before the wedding. This gathering is a planned part of our wedding weekend, and we warmly encourage all guests who are in town to attend. Details, including time and location, can be found on the "Schedule" page.

Question

What should I wear to the Welcome Reception?

Answer

The Welcome Reception attire is California casual. Think relaxed wine-country style: sundresses, boots, denim, linen, button-downs, and light layers. Comfortable and polished is the vibe.

Question

When should I arrive in Temecula?

Answer

We recommend arriving in Temecula by Tuesday afternoon or early evening so you can join us for our Welcome Event and settle in before the wedding day. We’re so excited to spend extra time with everyone and hope you’ll join us to kick off the celebration.

Question

What time should I arrive on the wedding day?

Answer

We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes early to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and getting settled before the ceremony begins.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve reserved room blocks at several nearby hotels for your convenience. You can find recommended accommodations and booking details on our "Travel" page.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

While transportation will not be provided, rideshare services are readily available in the area, and on-site parking will be available at the venue for those who plan to drive.

Question

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! On-site parking will be available for guests.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that only guests listed on the invitation attend. We truly appreciate your understanding as we plan an intimate celebration.

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! We’re excited to share a thoughtfully catered dinner and an open bar with our guests. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can ensure everyone is well taken care of.

Question

What is the best way to celebrate with you?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding means the world to us. If you’d like to give a gift, we’ve created a few optional funds on our registry to help us build our future and create special memories together.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We’re expecting mild daytime weather with cooler temperatures in the evening. Layers are encouraged so you can stay cozy and comfortable throughout the night.

Question

Who should I contact if I have questions?

Answer

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us directly. We’ll also continue updating the website with helpful details as the day gets closer.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we adore your children, we are only able to accommodate those who have been specifically invited. If your child's name is listed on the invitation, we can't wait to celebrate with them! Otherwise, we kindly ask that you make childcare arrangements and enjoy a night out with us. Thank you for understanding!
