If you fly to and from Málaga airport, there is a train connection between MÁLAGA MARÍA ZAMBRANO and PUENTE GENIL-HERRERA. So, the Málaga train station for these services is Málaga-María Zambrano, not Málaga Airport. From Málaga Airport, take the Cercanías C-1 local train to Málaga-María Zambrano. It is a short journey of around 15 minutes, with frequent trains, usually about every 20 minutes.
