Noey and Marco met nearly 10 years ago! It was October 21, 2016 and Noey was celebrating her birthday in Eau Claire, Wi. Marco was working at Dive (at the Informalist), crafting cocktails with effortless charm. Noey walked into the bar and quickly noticed the handsomely, charismatic bartender making her Old Fashioned. Then came the moment she’d never forget: Marco lit an orange peel on fire to garnish the drink, the flame flickering just long enough to leave her completely mesmerized. They struck up a conversation that led to many more Old Fashioneds, albeit in Minnesota instead of Wisconsin. What started as a chance meeting that night has grown into a decade filled with love, laughter and happiness.
