Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! We will not have a registry. If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home address listed on the Invitation Envelope. A wedding card box will be at our reception as well.
With weather permitting, we aim to have most of our wedding day outdoors. Guests will walk on the grassy gardens as well as paved pathways, so for that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.
We will be leaning to Traditional Sicilian cuisines (predominantly seafood based), but dietary restrictions (e.g. vegetarian options) will be taken into account. Come hungry and be prepared to EAT!
The average temperatures ranges from 66°F (19°C) to 75°F (24°C). During the day, you can visit the pool or the beaches or explore the cities comfortably. During the night, be prepared to throw on a light sweater.
We are observing a new EU regulation regarding this topic. It appears that starting 2025, some countries are required to have a travel authorization to enter most European countries. Please find more information on the ETIAS Official website.
Public Transportations will be your best option. While Ubers exist in Catania and Palermo, they are not reliable and with unappealing rates. To travel between cities (eg. Catania to Taormina), you can choose to take a train, or a bus. For more information, please visit our Travel Guide.
Renting a car in Italy is the same as renting in the US. You'll be able to make bookings through any Travel Websites (eg. Expedia, Booking.com, Credit Card Portals, etc.) However, you must have a International Driving Permit. To obtain one, simply visit your local AAA with a valid Driver's License. Please be advised to avoid the Rental Agency "Sicily By Car". When parking in cities / historic areas, look out for traffic signs labeled "Z.T.L" as they are residential parking zones.
In Italy, the hotels are required to register guests with the local authorities, which they do via your passport information. They will make a photocopy of your passport, and return it back to you immediately. If you are staying at an Airbnb, the host will often take a photo of your passport with their Mobile device. Do not be alarmed, this is just Italian law.
