Jessica Angel

Maid of Honor

Jessica isn’t just Marilyn’s cousin—she’s her built-in bestie and day-one ride-or-die. From playing in the backyard inflatable pool at their beloved grandmothers house, middle school mayhem (hello, braces!) to college adventures in Northern California, these two have been through it all. Their catch-up sessions are sacred, usually featuring sushi, ramen, wine, and lots of laughs over a favorite rom-com. Whether they’re jamming to Hannah Montana as kids, belting out Wicked as teens, or vibing to Billie Eilish, Jessica is one of the few people who brings out Marilyn’s most unfiltered, silly side. After years of memories, mischief, and music, there’s no way Marilyn would walk down the aisle without Jessica by her side!

Jayne Tristan

Maid of Honor

On Marilyn’s first day of preschool, all she wanted was a friend. So, when she spotted sweet little Jayne sitting by herself, she bravely walked up and asked the most important question: “Wanna be best friends?” Decades later, that preschool pact has turned into a sisterhood. When they’re not Netflix Partying during the week, Marilyn loves spending time with Jayne and her adorable baby, Xavier Jr.—usually over brunch and deep dives into the latest *Selling Sunset* drama. Oh, and fun fact: Marilyn had the honor of standing by Jayne’s side as her maid of honor!

Monica Albiso

Bridesmaid

Monica and Marilyn’s friendship kicked off at another wedding (shoutout to best man Zach and his wife, Makenna!). At the time, Monica had just started dating Marcos’ other best man, Alan, and Marilyn instantly knew she had to make her a forever friend. Fast forward a few years, and these two are closer than ever—using their partners’ golf days as the perfect excuse for their own hangouts. Because who needs golf when you have great company and even better conversations?

Monica Lopez

Bridesmaid

Monica is one of Marilyn’s LA besties, bonded forever by their love of Disneyland, swoony romance novels, and late-night In-N-Out runs. Whether they’re binging *Will & Grace*, passionately arguing Team Logan vs. Team Jess, or being the loudest (and happiest) table at a restaurant, these two are a total vibe. Now living in the Bay and finishing her degree at UC Berkeley, Monica’s just a short drive away—aka close enough for spontaneous hangouts and lots of wine and rom com nights.

Emily Estrada

Bridesmaid

Emily isn’t just Marilyn’s little sister—she’s been her lifelong Disneyland buddy. From countless trips to the Happiest Place on Earth to all of life’s big and small moments, Marilyn has loved watching Emily grow into the amazing woman she is today. Whether it’s sharing inside jokes, reminiscing about childhood adventures, or supporting each other through everything, their bond is unbreakable. Marilyn couldn’t be more thrilled (and maybe a little teary-eyed) to have her little sister by her side on her big day!

Alan Hernández

Best Man

Marco first met Alan in his first year at Butte College, ironically, in a public speaking class. They both grew up in Colusa County and had some mutual friends but had never interacted until then. Before that first week of class was over they realized they had the same sense of humor and had a hard time not laughing at each other during presentations. A few years passed and Alan visited Marco in Santa Cruz the same time Zach did. After one beer and two shots the three amigos had officially assembled and were headed into years of laughs, bombitas and concerts. Alan is one of Marco’s best and most loyal friends, they keep things light and fun but when a heart to heart conversation needs to be had, Alan is there without hesitation.

Zach Medellín

Best Man

Marco first met Zach through mutual friends while attending college in Chico,CA. Although their friendship didn’t fully form until a few years later when Marco had moved to Santa Cruz and Zach to Walnut Creek. On a random weekend Zach visited Marco and his other best man Alan who happened to also be visiting that weekend. The three amigos had a blast and so started a friendship that lead to countless concerts, golf trips, and laughs. Not to mention Marco being part of Zach’s own wedding. Zach and Marco went from being the hype men of the party, to each other’s hype men by supporting each other in all the endeavors of this weird thing called adulthood.

Luis González

Groomsman

Luis has been one of Marco’s closest and oldest friends. They first met when Marco was in first grade and Luis in Kindergarten. Their friendship grew to the next level when Marco’s parents bought him Rock Band 2 for the PS3 his freshman year of high school. The two bonded over their love of rock music (shout out to Marco’s Mom for putting up with the singing). There was not a moment where the two were ever quiet and not laughing. After high school they saw each other less but when they did the laughs and good times continued. Seeing Metallica at the Rose Bowl in 2017 was the cherry on top of a friendship that is now more of a brotherhood.

Hector González

Groomsman

If there is one person Marco can count on to make him laugh it’s Hector. The two met in Kindergarten and the laughs have continued until this very day. Going out and forming their own lives has not kept the two from checking in on each other with spontaneous phone calls. The advice and encouragement that they give each other, regardless of what life throws at these two boys from Princeton, goes to show how real and deep their friendship is. Hector and Marco are not just friends but brothers. There has been countless hilarious memories made with Hector. Marco and his Princeton friends even have a term for them, “Hector adventures”.

Olumide Coker

Groomsman

Olu and Marco met while working at The Home Depot in Chico, CA. At first Olu did not seem approachable to Marco. A little intimidating due to swole-ness but one family guy quote from Marco and it was game over. The two would not stop laughing in the aisles, ignoring the occasional customer looking for swap cooler filters. Aside from all the laughing at quotes from family guy and Vine. The two have always looked out for each other. Olu has become one of Marco’s most trustworthy friends and a real inspiration on what it takes to chase and achieve your goals. Time and distance that has come with adulthood doesn’t seem to matter when these two reconnect. Olu will be officiating Marco and Marilyn’s wedding. An idea that came from Marilyn. That goes to show how much Olu means to not just the groom but to the bride too.

Adam Alexander

Groomsman

Adam and Marco also met at the Chico Home Depot. Their relationship at first was…”dynamic”. The two would roast and tease each other, sometimes a little too hard. But it was Destiny that would make them great friends. And by that I mean Destiny the PlayStation video game. The two all of a sudden “best buds” would stay up till 2 sometimes 3am playing Destiny and would still show up to work at 7am ready to talk about the game that had just deprived them of sleep. Their friendship does go beyond video games. Adam and Marco will hop on the PlayStation just to catch up and talk about life. Adam has always been a extremely caring friend and one that truly listens. Marco even had the honor of being in Adam’s wedding party earlier this year. Being in their 30s and with their new adulthood responsibilities, the 3am gaming sessions are no longer really possible. But occasionally the two will have a crazy night and stay up gaming until 1130pm…maybe.
