The Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is *chefs kiss* beautiful. The plants are plentiful and the hiking trails are full of surprises. It'll be the best $5 you'll ever spend.
All the Parks
I know the majority of us grew up in Kansas City, but we are here to remind you that there are some prettttyyyy sick parks around here full of fun activities. Shawnee Mission Park has a lot of water. Swope has amazing trails! You can usually spot a game of cricket being played at Blue River Park every weekend. Who even knows the rules to that game, but it's still very entertaining!
The Mockingbird Lounge
This great little bar is tucked up on Strawberry Hill. Grab a drink and enjoy the best view of Kansas City out on their back patio!
