Hiking / "Leaf Peeping"
If the timing is right and you have time / are interested, check out the fall colors towards the mountains! Some western parts of NC might still be dicey with damage from Helene last year, but reach out to Marco if you're interested to learn more. Crowder's Peak is a decent hike nearby, but other hikes with better views are probably at least 1.5-2 hrs (South Mountain, Hanging Rock State Park, Asheville, Boone, Linville Gorge, etc.)
