Question

Is there a dress code?Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you at our wedding! Our celebration will be black-tie optional/preferred, meaning formal evening attire. For gentlemen, this means a tuxedo or a dark suit with a tie. For ladies, a floor-length gown or an elegant cocktail dress is perfect. Please feel free to wear bright summer colors, it's a summer solstice wedding! A black-tie wedding is all about timeless elegance, and we can’t wait to see our loved ones dressed to the nines as we celebrate this special occasion together! If you have any questions about attire, feel free to reach out.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception? Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Sacred Heart offers free parking with a very large parking lot, so there’s plenty of space for everyone! The Tremont House offers valet parking: $15 for the day $36 for overnight Street parking is also available nearby.

Question

Are children invited to the ceremony and reception? Are children invited to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Children are more than welcome to join us for both the ceremony and the reception! We just ask that little ones remain on their best behavior during the ceremony—and if you need to step out with them, we completely understand. For the reception, we’d love for them to come ready to dance and have fun! That said, if you’re able to enjoy a night out without the kiddos, we’d love for you to take the opportunity to let loose and celebrate with us. A sitter and a night off never hurt anyone!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony? Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

To make your day as smooth and stress-free as possible, we’ve arranged transportation through The Tremont House shuttle and the iconic Galveston Trolley. The first Trolley will depart from The Tremont at 4:15 PM to take guests to Sacred Heart Church. It will then return immediately to pick up close family, as well as the bridal party and groomsmen. After the ceremony, the Trolley will return to Sacred Heart around 6:00 PM to bring guests back to The Tremont House. It will make three return trips—please note that the third trip is reserved exclusively for the bride, groom, and wedding party. If you have any questions, please reach out to Kaitlyn or Justin (or our parents)!
