Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a shuttle to and from the Courtyard by Marriott Poughkeepsie and the Wedding Venue at Indian Ridge. 3:30PM To the Wedding from the Courtyard by Marriott Poughkeepsie going to Indian Ridge 9:30PM and 10:30PM To the Hotel from Indian Ridge going to the Courtyard by Marriott Poughkeepsie

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There is parking on site at Indian Ridge where we will be holding both the Ceremony and Reception.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We invite our guests to dress in cocktail attire for our summer barn celebration. Think garden party meets elegant evening — floral prints, soft pastels, and light summer suits are all welcome. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors on the grass, followed by dinner and dancing inside the barn. We recommend block heels, wedges, dressy flats, or loafers so you can move comfortably throughout the evening.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance. We have already planned all parts of our catering service to be inclusive of those with vegetarian and vegan diets.

While we adore your little ones, we kindly ask that you arrange for childcare as this will be a kid-free celebration.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event. Sodas and non-alcoholic options will also be available at the bar for those not drinking or under age 21.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

What happens if it rains?

Our ceremony will move indoors into the barn where we will also be able to have our cocktail hour.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!
