All events will take place in the backyard of the Baldridge Family Home. 1211 California St. Oceanside, CA 92054 This home holds deep meaning for the bride and her family. Marcie and her twin sister grew up here, creating a lifetime of memories in its backyard. Even more special, Marcie’s parents, Dean and Sally celebrated their marriage in this very backyard 43 years ago on May 1, 1982. Hosting the wedding here is a beautiful way to honor family tradition and begin a new chapter in the same place where it all began.
The Gaye Holud is a joyful Bengali pre-wedding celebration filled with color, music, turmeric, and tradition. It’s a way for loved ones to bless the couple with love (and haldi!) before the wedding. Come dressed in bright, festive colors — especially shades of yellow, orange, or gold — or your Bengali best! It’s a lively event, so have fun with your outfit. Expect delicious South Asian food, music, and fun traditions throughout the evening.
We will be serving wine, cocktails, and beer only during the wedding celebration on Sunday, September 28, 2025. The Gaye Holud will be alcohol-free, in keeping with tradition.
