The ceremony will be held outdoors in a garden setting (not shaded). The reception will be at Haleiwa Joe's, an open air restaurant above the gardens. The weather in June will likely be warm and sunny, please dress accordingly.
Yes, there is ample parking available at Haiku Garden's private lot.
The lion dance is a deeply rooted tradition in Chinese culture and is often performed during major life events. The lion dance is believed to bring good fortune and wealth to the couple. The lion, being a powerful and auspicious animal, symbolizes strength, vitality, and success. The dance is thought to ward off evil spirits, ensuring a harmonious and prosperous future for the couple. We recommend bringing a donation of $1-10 for the Sing Chung Dragon and Lion Dance Troupe (DOLLAH DOLLAH BILLZ Y'ALL).
Please check your invitation for your guest allowance. We kindly ask you to respect the names on the invitation.
We do not have a registry, your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. However, if you would like to honor us with a gift, we would greatly appreciate contributions towards our future together. A monetary gift would help us as we build our home and start our life as a married couple.
There will be a cash bar available for drinks during the reception.
