Marcia and Dan met in Fort Collins in 2017 through mutual friends at Colorado State University. They quickly became close, sharing their senses of humor and adventure.

For their fist date, Dan and Marcia stopped for dinner and talked about their families, friends, and sports. After dinner, they drove to Horsetooth Reservoir to catch the first of many sunsets together.

During the next 5 years, Dan and Marcia had checked many adventures off of their list. From camping trips, to adopting their dog Mowgli, to backpacking trips, to traveling together internationally, they fell in love with life together.

On December 17th, 2022, Dan, accompanied by friends and family, drove out to a trailhead in Lory State Park to set up their instruments and amps. Marcia was kept busy until she arrived at the trailhead. When she arrived, Dan and his friends started playing "Romeo and Juliet" by Peter McPoland. Then, with family and friends there, Dan proposed to Marcia and she said yes!

And finally on August 6th, 2023, Dan and Marcia will get married in Lafayette, Colorado. It will be a beautiful day! Dan and Marcia can't wait to celebrate with you all.
