Picture it. Late September, an amazing night at Louisville Silent Disco. Aaron was out with his friends because he saw his friend Steven was DJ-ing that night. He took a break from dancing to get a refreshment. While in line Aaron said hello to Steven's husband, David. Marcia was out with her friends, celebrating her birthday, her friend Steven was doing an amazing job as DJ. Marcia went to get a refreshment with Steven's husband, David. While in line David was asking this guy in line about the recent TacoFest event. Marcia needed to hear about this TacoFest and was thusly introduced to Aaron. Aaron and his friends came over to join Marcia's buddies for dancing and general ridiculousness. When Aaron's friends had to leave, he stuck around to keep hanging out with Marcia and her buddies. When they left the Silent Disco, Marcia immediately said to her friend Kristin, "I should have asked for his number. Oh well." Over the next few days she couldn't stop think about how she should have given that dashing, silly man her phone number. She worked up some courage, found him on Facebook, and sent him a message. Unbeknownst to her, he had been trying to figure out how to reach out to her as well, maybe figure out how to run into her at her running club. We would say the rest is history but over the next few weeks and months other little things started to pop up. It turns they had both attended the same event at the Speed Art Museum one night a few years earlier. Marcia can be seen in one of Aaron's pictures enjoying the first Louisville Silent Disco event. They figured out they had matched on a dating site months a few months before meeting but neither were very enthusiastic on the online dating world. We had been circling each other and were lucky enough to finally cross paths in the right way. Aaron would surprise Marcia with a proposal on New Years Even, at a Silent Disco at the same place they met. And now, we are making our histories together.
