It all started towards the end of 2017. Kasey and I only knew of each other because she worked the front desk at the gym I trained at with my brother. It was usually just a polite "Good Morning!" as I walked on through to the gym. However, one day Kasey pulled me over to the front of the desk to try the infamous Jelly Beans. I noticed a huge grin on her face as my brother Jeremiah was already tasting a few of his own. I thought to myself, "Why is she giggling over jelly beans?". She handed me one to taste and I immediately knew something was up. I have never tasted something so rotten and off-putting as this jelly bean. Meanwhile, Kasey is on the other side of the desk letting out her infectious laugh! Turns out this Jar of jelly beans was filled with ALL different kinds of flavors. The flavor I was lucky enough to try just happened to be the "throw up" flavor. Sorry I know that's gross but that's exactly what happened! Anyways, I carried on about my day with no other thought but, "What an interesting young lady!". Now we were both spoken for at the time so let's just fast forward all the way to July of 2020. Kasey and I reconnected at Finney's Crafthouse in Westlake California. My buddy Aaron Garcia and I just finished a round of golf and decided to hit up Finney's for lunch. Just so happened that Kasey was our server that day. It was an immediate exchange of, "wait... Kasey?", to which she replied, "Aaron?". Now at this time we were both single and ready to mingle as they say. So we started talking and really wasted no time trying to get together. Within the next week Kasey saw I was eating at Finneys yet again and invited herself to lunch with me. I will say that this was after I had already asked her out for lunch a couple days prior. So we sat and had lunch that day and talked for 3 hours straight. We were able to catch up on life and get to know each other on much more than a surface level. I can honestly say we haven't missed a single day of talking to each other since that first lunch date. It has been quite a ride for us these past few years. Through the ups and downs of our relationship we have continued to show each other unconditional love and support. We are constantly growing closer together and closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on a daily basis. Our faith and our mutual love and respect for each other have bound us together from day one. We are always pushing each other to be the best versions of ourselves we can be all while keeping God at the center of our relationship. On top of all this, Kasey and I have become best friends. We both cherish every second we have with each other. Honestly, one of our favorite things to do is just be together and watch some of our favorite shows. Kasey and I learned quickly that we share many of the same passions and goals in life. We both love fitness and the outdoors. We both want a big happy family as soon as possible. So if we leave a little early on our wedding night you'll know why! All jokes aside, Kasey and I have fallen madly in love over the last couple years and we can't wait for our wedding day. One reason being we just can't wait to finally make it official! And another reason being we can't wait to celebrate with all of you amazing people who have made this journey possible for us. So many of you guys have helped shape both of us into the humans we are today and we are eternally grateful for that. From immediate family to long distance friends, Kasey and I are so thankful for all of you. That's why it's our hearts desire for all of you to come celebrate with us on our special day!
