Guilford Courthouse National Military Park
A favorite of ours for forest walks. This revolutionary war historic park has paved, wooded trails.
Oden Brewing Company
Maybe the nicest brewery in the city, has outdoor seating and rustic decor. I like their stouts and harvest ale.
Flat Iron
Guaranteed live music on weekends, this is a cool spot downtown to hear local music and have a drink.
Hanging Rock State Park
This is a hiking excursion into the NC foothills. Does have an astounding view of the NC Piedmont
City of Greensboro - Country Park
Adjacent to both Battleground Park and the Science Center, this idyllic spot has a zip line and a carousel featuring Samuel's mom's art.
Bull City Ciderworks Greensboro
Cidery! It's located on a street with lovely restaurants and boutiques. You might check out Cafe Pasta or Mizumi Sushi if you can get a reservation!

This local restaurant is a super good neighborhood spot. Salads, fish, entrees, house-made hot sauce, and great drink selection. We love this place! And its across the street from several other great restaurants including Sticks and Stone (artisan pizza), Filling Station (sandwiches) and Emma Keys (burgers.)
