Sometimes, the best things in life happen when you least expect them. One ordinary day at UB turned into the beginning of something unforgettable. I (Marcelo) was heading to the dining hall with a group of friends, but for some reason that day, our usual route was blocked; so we took a different path, which led us across the hall from Lisa's dorm. In true college fashion, one of my friends decided to invite himself into the dorm, where we met Lisa. We introduced ourselves, and something just clicked. Lisa and I got in touch and quickly became friends. That same night, we went out, and from there, things just naturally fell into place. What started as a friendship turned into a deep connection. Before long, we started dating — June 14th, 2017 — and now, here we are, writing the next chapter of our story together.
