After meeting each other a few times through mutual friends, Marcel decided to message Bryanna on a sunny Seattle day. We met at Greenlake and spent hours sitting on a bench talking and laughing. That summer we spent nearly every day together before Bryanna left for her freshman year at San Diego State. Long distance made for constant phone calls and millions of texts when one of us wasn’t visiting the other. Even that didn’t last long. After Christmas break and roughly 6 months of dating, we hopped in a U-Haul together moving Marcel to San Diego.   Fast forward a few years, we moved in together in our Belltown apartment in 2014. In 2015, Marcel brought Bryanna to Germany for the first time, introducing her to his extended family and showing her all the sites.  Throughout our relationship we had too many dance parties to count, hit up more restaurants than the average foodie, played sports together, made memories traveling, helped each other grow personally and in our careers, and most importantly, continued to fall more and more in love with one another.   On March 6, 2020, Marcel proposed at Sun Mountain Lodge, and Bryanna still can’t believe he was able to pull it off as a complete surprise! Although it took a while to get a “yes” because she was in such shock, it was the easiest and most highly anticipated question she could answer.  If you are reading this, you are an integral part of our lives, and for that we thank you.
