Charity (aka Chi) is Mel's best and only sibling. She led the charge as the oldest, the popular, social and outspoken one - until Mel found her voice. Mel once told her family, "I'm not quiet. Chi just talks too much for me!" Through the years Chi has been a sounding board for Mel and while they're a bit opposite, when it comes down to it they have each other's back. Favorite Memory: Fulfilling every Filipino's dream - seeing Celine Dion in person!! (Thx Uncle!!) Message to Chi: You can change a room based on your energy - are tenacious & strong.. I admire those qualities about you. Those close to you are lucky as you are a loyal friend. One day, I hope to be able to out step you in FitBit.. but am certainly NOT going to running around a hotel room to do so. Olive juice!!

Bogdan & Marcel have been friends for 21 years. They met in a classroom preparing to join University. His first words where "I want to go to America". After college Bogdan came to the states, while Marcel stayed and became a teacher in the old country. Marcel hit a hard patch and Bogdan asked me "why you don't come to the States. You don't have to worry about anything, I will help you." Over the years their friendship continued to grow stronger. Favorite moments: college life, trips into the mountains, sharing one bread and 2 spam cans with other 20 people when we got lost into the mountains. Message to Bogdan : Not having any relatives into the states, you and Nanari where the only family I have here.

Marius Sandru "Nanari": Nanari and Marcel have been friends for over 14 years. They meet by accident at a lounge when he came from a blind date and ended up meeting Bogdan as well. It is no accident they met that night though because their values are the same - built on trust, they can talk about anything and we can rely on each other anytime. Favorite memories: while I was in the hospital he seemed more eager to steal my pudding than to visit me. I pretended I wanted it just to keep him away from it. Message to Nanari: You are a big (tall) guy, but you have an even bigger heart .

8-year old Caylee Vera Rudolph will be entering 3rd grade this year. She plays the piano, a solid gray belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, loves swimming and gymnastics. She is the daughter of Melanie's cousin Carian Dungeon Rudolph. We are excited to host the Rudolph Family from Florida!!

Ethan is 2.5 years old and LOVES Batman and is always "saving the day". Ethan is the son of long time family friend to Richard and his wife Jessica. Richard and Mel were "cousins" from day 1. We are thankful that Ethan is apart of our special day!!

Ebele and Melanie have been dear friends since high school when they grew closer as Student Council officers. Since then they've stayed close even traveling around the US & Mexico together. Ebele inspires all those around her. For Melanie, by acting as a sounding board through life's tougher moments and by encouraging her work hard, dream bigger and listen to her gut. Favorite memories: talking me through my quarter-life crises, having 6 burgers during a weekend visiting Ebele in NYC after not eating red meat for 7 years ("toasted buns!!") and all the fun concerts we go to together! Message to Ebele: I breathe lighter and stand taller because of the ways you've poured into my life. Thank you for honoring Marcel and I by sharing this day with us in this special way. Love you Boo!!
