How do I get to Mackinac Island?

How far is the walk from the ferry dock to Mission Point Resort?
Answer
It is approximately 0.75 miles or a 16-minute walk. Should you need it, there is a cash-only taxi service available via Mackinac Island Carriage Tours. For more details regarding the taxi, please see our Travel Page.

When should I complete my RSVP with lunch and dinner selections?
Answer
Please RSVP and select your entree for lunch and dinner by June 15th.

What should I bring with me?
Answer
In addition to any outfits for our wedding events, please consider bringing comfortable walking shoes, cash for taxi fees and tips, and a swimsuit for the pool! There is also a tennis court on-site if you would like to bring your racquet, but they are also available to rent.

What meals should I expect to eat with the group?
Answer
Kim and Marcel will be hosting a rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, and farewell breakfast for all of our guests. Additionally, boxed lunches will be available for pickup on the day of the wedding. Any other meals you enjoy while you are on the island will be at your time and discretion.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5 PM, so we kindly request you be seated at least 15 minutes prior to ensure we remain on schedule.

When can I check in to the hotel?
Answer
Check in at Mission Point Resort is at 4 PM. Check out is 11 AM. Should you need more time in your room, please contact Mission Point directly at 800-833-7711.
