One bitter cold day, doing my mom's groceries, I was taken away by her beauty and cut my shopping short to have the opportunity of talking to Marcela. While to me, I saw Roberto as a regular costumer, and didn't think much of it. We went out a few times but when I thought I was going to get know her more, the opportunity came to a sudden stop. Who would've thought that almost ten years later we came across each other 's path and the ashes reignited. And here we are, almost eight years together, ready to make a lifelong commitment. --- Era un dia muy frio del 2001, estaba comprando comida para mi mama, me sorprendio su belleza y suspendi mis compras para tener la oportunidad de hablar con Marcela. Mientras que para mi, Roberto era como cualquier otro cliente, y no le di mucha importancia. Salimos unos dias, pero cuando pense que la conoceria mejor, esa oportunidad llego a un repentino final. Quien iba a pensar que casi diez anos despues nos cruzariamos en el camino, encendiendo las cenizas que habian quedado. Y aqui seguimos, casi ocho anos juntos y listos para compremeternos para toda la vida.

While I was making every effort to surprise him with his family over to celebrate his 44th. birthday, he had under his sleeve an all planned proposal. After blowing his birthday candles, he started an unpredictable speech having me all confused and thinking "but it's not Christmas or New Year's for him to be talking about our ups and downs at this time", then he played the first song he ever dedicated to me; little did I know that he was going to propose to me. And of course I SAID YES! --- Mientras yo estaba haciendo todo esfuerzo para sorprenderlo con su familia en la casa para celebrar su cumpleanos #44, Roberto ya tenia bajo la manga todo un plan para proponerme matrimonio. Despues de haber apagado las velitas del pastel, empezo un discurso fuera de lo normal confundiendome toda y pensando, "pero si no es Navidad o Ano Nuevo para que Roberto este hablando de nuestras altas y bajas en este momento", despues puso la primera cancion que me ha dedicado. Ni idea tenia yo que me iba a proponer matrimonio. Y por supuesto dije que SI!!!
