Our Story An unexpected match started it all. What began with a bowling game and a lot of laughter slowly turned into something much bigger. Between music, long conversations, and many after-work plans, we kept finding reasons to spend time together. One night Josh plugged in his microphone and sang “Are You Gonna Be My Girl.” It was funny, a little emo, very romantic… and very Josh. Music quickly became one of the ways we connected the most. Between different languages, funny translation moments, and a lot of patience, we somehow learned how to understand each other perfectly. Madcap’s became a special place for us — where some of our favorite memories began. Even after it closed, the meaning it held for us never faded. So one cold February day, Josh brought me back there anyway. Nervous, freezing, and barely able to breathe, he got down on one knee to ask me to be his wife. And yes… he finally proposed — even while my ring finger was cut. But honestly, what made the moment so special for me was seeing Josh so nervous. It was private, real, and incredibly sweet — perfectly us. So I said yes. Somehow, through different languages, love and the magic of music found their own way to connect our two worlds.
