Mazama Store & Bakery
Where it all started....involving a handsome checkout operator, a New Zealand accent, and $100 on Pump 2 - the rest is history. Located in downtown Mazama, this is our family store, which carries a "little bit of everything good". This is your go to spot for pastries, coffee, any last minute items and of course, the store's world famous Sea Salt Baguettes!
Goat's Beard Mountain Supplies
Located right next door to the Mazama Store and kitty corner to the Ranch House, the Goat's Beard has info on where to go and what to see in Mazama. They'll have the latest trail conditions and what's open. Stop in to get a list of where to go and what to do while you're in town! We've also set aside the Goat's Beards entire mountain bike rental fleet for you! Call to reserve a time slot and staff can get you set up with bikes and trail advice.
Washington Pass
Stop in at the Washington Pass Overlook if you didn't on your way to the valley! Beautiful spot for pictures and views of the Liberty Bell Spires.
Suspension Bridge Trailhead
The Methow Community Trail starts right from Mazama and gives you access to over 50km of maintained trails. Take a bike from the Goat's Beard or walk from any of the trailheads close to Mazama to get a beautiful, scenic and mellow adventure in!
Cutthroat Lake
One of our favorites. Easy 2 mile hike into the lake and another 3 miles to Cutthroat Pass! You will need a NW Forest Pass for your car, so make sure to stop by the Goat's Beard for more information on what trails require them and how to get one!
