The Island Resort is located in Fort Walton Beach and there are so many fun things to do in the area. FWB is close to a cute beach town, Destin, only a short drive away. Pensascola beach is another cute beach town, about an hour away.

The HarborWalk Village has many restaurants and bars and is only 5 miles from the resort. We recommend AJ's, Tailfins, Coyote Ugly, The Red Door, The Tavern, The Edge Seafood. Lots to explore here!
Fort Walton Beach

Feel free to explore FWB. We recommend Parlour Doughnuts and the Food Trucks on Florida Place. Walking distance from the hotel there is Rockin Tacos, Pino Gelato Cafe, Oasis on the Boardwalk Cafe and Boutique, Floyds Shrimp House and the Crab Trap. On-site at the resort there are a few restaurants and a tiki bar on the beach.
