Avery and Christina met in New Orleans during Christina’s first year as a missionary. They became very close through walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain for 14 days in the summer of 2024. Avery and her husband, Conrad, also helped support and advise Christina and Marc when they first started dating. “Avery and Conrad’s home became a home for me after we walked the Camino together. Tea time at their house became a regular thing because they were like family to me.” - Christina
