We met on an online dating app. Cheryl had a picture doing a yoga pose on her paddle board. Marc sent a message saying "I bet you fell off right after that picture was taken". Cheryl thought this was very funny and we started getting to know each other. We planned for our first date to go paddle boarding but mother nature did not agree so we ended up at Jeramiah's Tavern. We had a few drinks, planned out our lives together. And here we are!

We had a weekend trip scheduled to Lake Placid, where Marc planned to pop the question. The night before we were leaving, we were unwinding after we both had a tough day at work. It was a perfect evening, just the two of us, sharing a bottle of wine out on the porch and talking. Marc decided he just couldn't wait any longer and excused himself and came back with the ring and knelt on one knee. Cheryl was very surprised and said "thank you" instead of "yes". Then we celebrated the whole weekend in Lake Placid!
