Our city restrictions and common sense have led us to the only conclusion to keep everyone safe: no wedding gathering. We're heartbroken to cancel. Though we will still get married on zoom with the witnesses and officiant- we will just have to celebrate with everyone another time. We love you all too much to put that many households at risk. Allie: Part of the fun of introducing someone new to your friends, is telling the story of how you met. Marc and I decided pretty early on that this would be a great opportunity to gave a little fun! Telling people "We met online" was far less entertaining than telling literally everyone a different story to see how far you could push them before they'd start thinking something was a little fishy! We always fessed up in good fun. But we were pretty surprised how many people actually believed I was a welding instructor, or a trained sensitivity consultant! We were all over the place! Ultimately Marc didn't run me over with his car, or have to take ballet that I took too; we just met online and clicked. It's pretty safe to say we're glad we did!
Marc: Summer love is definitely a thing, or at least was for us. After a vacation together to Nashville and a few weekend trips to the Cabin, after six months of dating Allie and I moved in together. After successfully "Brady Bunching" all our pets (Pip and Squeak: the dogs; Omar and Kima: the cats) to live in peace, it was time to take our relationship to the next level. Over the holidays we went ring shopping and talked and talked about our future TOGETHER! During the height of COVID-19 lockdown, I asked Allie to marry me on steps of the Art Museum. On April 12th, 364 days after our first date, she said yes and that brings us here...
