Question

What is the screening for COVID for a trip to Hawaii?

Answer

*IMPORTANT* Please see below for COVID travel regulations: As of now, you need current proof of COVID vaccination OR Proof of a negative FDA EUA approved COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before your flight departure time. **If you have a multi-city flight itinerary, the departure time is from the last city you leave before arriving at a Hawai‘i airport (e.g. if your travel is from Chicago to Seattle to Honolulu, the departure time to look at is your flight from Seattle). **Once you receive your negative pre-travel test result, you will need to upload the result to your Safe Travels Hawai‘i account. This step is crucial, as it will be the only means for airport officials to verify your Safe Travel Hawai‘i information upon your arrival in Hawai‘i. If it's not possible to upload the document, a print out in hand prior to departure to Hawai‘i is required in order to avoid the 10-day quarantine. Please visit gohawaii.com for updated information
