The sooner the better would be ideal. However, no later than the first of June. If we do not receive the RSVP by that time, we will not account for you to be there.
Due to staying on our budget, unless your invitation states a guest or your partner's s name, we unfortunately were not able to give plus ones for every guest. However, if you would like to include a plus one you are able, but you need to communicate this to us in a timely manner and pay for your guest's fee upfront.
Originating in Ireland, the guests are given the opportunity to individually have a moment with the couples rings (supervised by the ring warmers) and "warm" the rings with a prayer, good wishes, or positive intentions for the couples future together prior to the rings being given to the ring bearers for the ceremony. This turns the wedding rings not only into a tangible symbol of the couple's commitment to each other, but into a sacred gift blessed by the couple's loved ones.
No the wedding will not be a dry wedding. It is a mixture of Irish and Puerto Rican families in which both cultures, are known to like their liquor. However, Pennsylvania state law does not allow the consumption of shots at weddings. You must order a beer, wine, cocktail, etc. The Anthracite Center also hold the right to stop serving anyone who they deem intoxicated.
The Anthracite Center does have an outdoor patio area in which you are allowed to smoke cigarettes, cigars, and other tobacco products. RECREATIONAL MARAJUANA IS NOT LEGAL IN THE STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA Drug use is not permitted on the premises and you will be kicked out if you are found smoking or using drugs. (Joints, Blunts, Vapes, Edibles etc.) We really do not want to deal with any headaches involving loved ones getting kicked out due to this issue so please don't do it.
If you have a dietary restriction please reach out to me at connorsmalavewedding@gmail.com or include it when you RSVP and I will happily work with you and the venue to be able to have a dish that you are able to eat, and enjoy with dinner.
The answer is both yes, and no. While your entire outfit does not have to be those colors, we would appreciate it if you found a way to incorporate one of the three colors into your ensemble. So for example, if you want to wear a blue dress you absolutely can! (We're gay, we love color) You can incorporate one of the 3 colors in many ways: makeup, shoes, accessories, purses, jewelry, etc.
