Hunters Hall is located in Swanton Morley, near Dereham. The address is: Hunters Hall Swanton Morley Dereham, Norfolk NR20 4JU We have found that sat-nav is really accurate for Hunters Hall. If you travel without sat-nav, make your way to Darby's Freehouse just off the B1147 within the village (near the garage) and follow the signs.
Hunters Hall has plenty of parking space if you would like to travel by car. We would definitely recommend booking a taxi for the return in advance (mobile signal can be patchy!) from nearby accommodation. If you are travelling from further afield, the nearest town is Dereham (a ten minute drive), and the nearest city is Norwich (a half an hour drive). Transport to Norwich from London airports is easiest via the train and Norwich is connected to Dereham via bus. Please let us know if we can help with any travel related questions, we would love to help!
Obviously we hope that the situation will continue to improve and that the wedding and everyone's travel arrangements will not be impacted. If something changes and, in worst case scenario, we have to move the wedding or make changes to the schedule, please be assured that we will be in touch and let you know. For now, we would ask that if at all possible, you would take a lateral flow test (freely available in the UK) before attending the wedding. We want everyone to feel and stay safe, and have vulnerable and pregnant guests. Thank you so much in advance! UPDATE: Lateral flow tests will cease to be freely available at the beginning of April. We would still ask, if at all possible, that you could maybe save one of the free tests to use for the wedding :).
UPDATED: From February 11, the UK no longer requires any tests or quarantines. Recently, Passenger Locator Forms have also been scrapped. It looks like there will be no covid specific travel requirements in place at the time of our wedding. We will keep an eye on entry requirements and restrictions and update this space accordingly, but we highly recommend bookmarking the government page and signing up for their email alerts ('Get emails about this page' at the top of the website) in case of changes. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-to-england-from-another-country-during-coronavirus-covid-19
We don't need any gifts, we just want to celebrate with those we love most (that’s you!)
I appreciate this may not be one of your most pressing questions at the moment, but you will definitely want to know after you have eaten some at the wedding ;). We (and you) are very lucky that our wonderful friend Dale is preparing the wedding cake for us. She is an amazing baker, and if you would like to have a taste prior to the wedding to judge for yourself (or after, to check if it really is always THAT good), I can highly recommend Dale's Brownie Boxes that she ships nationwide. She also takes custom orders if you are looking for any special cakes. You can find her here: https://www.instagram.com/theyorkshiredale/
