A “soft RSVP” is an informal and rough headcount of who plans to attend. Think of a soft RSVP like an early pulse check to help us plan. This step will be very helpful given our wedding is abroad. This is not a formal commitment. You can edit your RSVP when we send out the formal invitations, if needed. Please Soft RSVP by 4/1/26. We hope you will join us!
The closest airport to Marbella is Málaga–Costa del Sol Airport (AGP), about 30 minutes away by car. For anyone traveling from Newark, NJ—there is a nonstop option! From other U.S. cities, most flights connect through Madrid, Barcelona, or another European hub. Other nearby airport: Gibraltar International Airport (GIB), about 1 hour from Marbella If you want to—and can—extend your trip on the front end or back end, we recommend it! Flights within Europe are typically affordable.
First and foremost—THANK YOU for making the trip! Our wedding festivities will begin on June 25th. As of today, we’re envisioning a pool party during the day & welcome dinner in the evening. Please check the schedule of events once formal invitations are sent. The events that are listed now are still tentative. Planning to explore more in Europe? The July 4th holiday is the week after our wedding—aka bonus vacation days!
Yes! We will be hosting celebrations each day. However, our hope is that you can simply relax, enjoy yourselves, and soak up everything Marbella has to offer. There will be time to explore on your own should you choose. Full details will be shared on the schedule page of our site soon!
The easiest way is by private transfer, rental car, Uber, or taxi. There are also buses from Málaga Airport to Marbella’s central bus station, which is a more affordable option. We’ll share more recommendations for car services and transfers closer to the date.
Old Town (Casco Antiguo) – Charming cobblestone streets, whitewashed Andalusian houses, and the iconic Orange Square (Plaza de los Naranjos). Luxury & Glamour – Known as the “Spanish Riviera,” Marbella attracts celebrities, royals, and the international elite with its upscale resorts, luxury hotels, and Michelin-starred restaurants. Puerto Banús – The world-famous marina filled with superyachts, boutiques, and a vibrant nightlife scene. Beaches & Beach Clubs – Marbella has 15+ miles of Mediterranean coastline, with trendy beach clubs and restaurants. Golf – Nicknamed the “Golf Valley,” Marbella has some of Europe’s best golf courses. Art & Culture – Home to a Salvador Dalí sculpture collection along Avenida del Mar and plenty of Andalusian cultural influences. Year-Round Sunshine – Its microclimate makes it one of Europe’s sunniest and warmest spots.
Only if you want to! Taxis and Ubers are very easy to arrange & readily available. That said, if you’d like to explore the Andalusian coast or nearby towns like Ronda, renting a car is a great idea.

We are hosting our wedding at a luxury estate called “La Susana”. La Susana is perched atop the Balcón del Golf hills in Marbella, Spain. Take a Tour: https://www.lasusanamarbella.com
Check back soon as we will be sharing hotel and villa accommodations so you can choose what works best for you. Marbella offers everything from luxury resorts and boutique hotels to charming Airbnbs. We recommend Old Town Marbella for the European charm.
We’ll clarify guest invitations individually. Please check your invitation or reach out to us directly if you’re unsure.
The events and wedding will be adults-only. If your children will be with you (ex: extending your stay in Europe and want to bring the kiddos along), please let us know.
Expect plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures—typically in the 70s–80s °F during the day, with cooler evenings.
Spain is relaxed but stylish. Guests often dress elegantly for celebrations, and it’s customary to greet hosts with a friendly hug or kiss on the cheek. We think these phrases will come in handy for the celebration: Hello / Cheers! (when raising a glass): ¡Salud! (sah-LOOD) – literally “health” Goodbye / See you later: ¡Hasta luego! (AH-stah LWAY-goh) – “See you later” More wine / Keep it coming: ¡Otro vino, por favor! (OH-troh VEE-no por fah-VOR) – “Another wine, please!” Let’s celebrate / Cheers to love: ¡Brindemos por el amor! (breen-DEH-mos por el ah-MOR) A Spanish Toast: ¡Arriba, abajo, al centro, y pa’ dentro! (ahr-REE-bah, ah-BAH-ho, al SEHN-troh, ee pah DEHN-troh) – “Up, down, center, and inside!” – referring to the motion of raising your glass up, down, clinking in the center, and then drinking.
