Flying into CDMX & Staying in Cuernavaca

The best option is to fly into Mexico City (Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez), stay a couple days before the wedding and then head to Cuernavaca which is the city closest to the wedding venue. If your schedule permits, we think it is a great idea to spend some days in Mexico City before and/or after the wedding. The city has a lot to offer, see “Things to Do in Mexico City” tab for our top recommendations. On Friday, March 4th you can head to Cuernavaca for the wedding weekend. Cuernavaca is a beautiful city best known for its year-long Spring climate and is just 25min from the venue.

How to get from Mexico City to Cuernavaca (aprox. 1.5hrs driving)
There are various options: you can rent a car, hop on a bus or take a taxi. However, we recommend you simply take an uber for convenience and reasonable prices. UberX is approximately MXN 1,400 = USD 70 per trip and is flexible in terms of timing and pickup location. If you happen to run into other wedding guests a smart option is UberXL which costs aprox MXN 2,500 = USD 125 and can fit up to 6 people If you want to go directly to Cuernavaca as soon as you arrive into the airport you can hire a private taxi or hop on an executive bus. The executive bus is called Pullman de Morelos, Servicio Ejecutivo Dorado which departs from the airport (either T1 or T2) and is a non-stop ride to Cuernavaca Casino.
