We’ve known each other for a long time — childhood friends whose paths crossed early — but our love story truly began years later in the most unexpected way. One day in 2008, during a random stop at McDonald’s, Maranda spotted Anthony inside while sitting in the drive-through with friends. Feeling bold, she asked them to park and went in to say hello. That day ended with Anthony asking for her phone number… and then not calling. Months later, they ran into each other again at the mall. This time, when Anthony asked for her number, Maranda made it clear: only if you’re actually going to use it. He did — and from that moment on, we’ve been inseparable. As our friendship turned into something deeper in 2009, we quickly realized how easy it felt to be together. We bonded over music, food, and simply enjoying each other’s company, but what truly set us apart was the comfort we found in being fully ourselves. There was no need to perform or pretend — we could let our guards down completely. That honesty became the foundation of our love. Anthony says Maranda brings optimism into his life and helps him always see the brighter side of every situation, bringing him peace no matter what the day holds. Maranda says Anthony gives her a sense of safety and security — a feeling of being deeply loved and at home whenever they’re together. Over the years, our love has grown into something authentic, deeply supportive, and steady. It’s the kind of love that feels like home — the kind built quietly, over time, and supported by the people who have loved us through every season. While we wish we could gather everyone who has ever been part of our journey, our celebration is intentionally intimate, making the presence of each person here incredibly meaningful to us. That love eventually led us all the way to Montego Bay, Jamaica, where Anthony proposed under a beautiful veranda, beneath moonlight dancing across the water. After a romantic walk through the resort grounds and along the beach, in a quiet, dreamlike moment meant just for us, he got down on one knee and asked Maranda to be his wife. As we begin this next chapter, we want to thank you — our family and friends — for your love, support, and encouragement throughout the years. Many of you have known us individually, walked alongside us as a couple, and helped shape the story that brought us here. We are deeply grateful to celebrate this joyful day with you and couldn’t imagine doing it without the people who mean the most to us by our side.
