Things To Do
Newport Mansions Preservation Society
Tour the mansions on Bellevue Avenue, then go for a walk on the Cliff Walk to see them from the water side.
Norman Bird Sanctuary
Walk down the paths or hike out to Hanging Rock for a stunning view of Second Beach and the ocean.
Newport Beaches
We hope the weather will still be warm enough for beaching - head to First Beach, right below the Cliff Walk; Second Beach, over the hill past Saint George's; or Third Beach (Tori's favorite!) on the Sakonnet River to soak up some late-season sun.
Cru Café
One of the best breakfast/lunch spots in town. Park on Bellevue or in the spaces right in front of Cru to avoid metered (and strict!) parking in the large shopping center parking lot.
Provencal Bakery
Great pastries and sandwiches. Stop by for breakfast and grab a sandwich to take to the beach for lunch.
Flo's Clam Shack
Casual local seafood place right across from First Beach; open for lunch and dinner. First opened in 1936! A Newport classic.
Midtown Oyster Bar
Centrally located in town and delicious food - great option for dinner on Friday.
Mission
Cheeseburger paradise, right in town. Another branch just opened down the street from the Welcome Party venue - would be a good option for pre-party dinner!
Bouchard Inn & Restaurant
Excellent, fancy option for dinner on Friday.
Stoneacre Brasserie
In town and open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. Can't go wrong at any time of day!
