Please RSVP on our website or by mail by April 3, 2025. You are welcome to RSVP before this date!
You will be missed, but we completely understand. Please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
Of course! Come when you can - just don't forget to RSVP "no" if you are not attending the reception.
If your invitation includes an option for a plus one, then yes! We look forward to celebrating with you and your guest.
We are so excited to celebrate with you. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items to help us kickstart our life together. Our registry can be found here: Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/wedding/registry/IGWPX045YKPK
The ceremony will take place in a Catholic church so please no tank tops or sleeveless tops without a shawl or sweater. The Detroit Yacht Club's dress code is "coat and tie for men (collared shirts with a jacket are acceptable with dress slacks and shoes). Dress code for women is dresses or pantsuits and shoes."
Although we can't predict the exact weather, temperatures in Detroit in May are typically around 70 degrees during the day and 50 degrees at night.
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Detroit. Please see our Travel Page for more information on booking your stay.
Please plan on arriving at 1:30 p.m. to find a seat before the ceremony begins at 2:00.
We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos the rest of the night! Our wedding hashtag is TBD.
We are not providing transportation to and from the events, but there is a complimentary shuttle for guests of the Hilton Garden Inn from the hotel to the church. Each guest will also receive a pass for free admission on Belle Isle and there is ample parking at the Detroit Yacht Club.
Yes, there is street parking on both sides of W. Lafayette Blvd. and St. Anne St. around the Basilica of Ste. Anne. There is free parking onsite at the Detroit Yacht Club. When you arrive to the Yacht Club, you will give your name to the guard on duty who will direct you to the parking lot.
After the ceremony, you will have time to freshen up or explore beautiful Belle Isle before the cocktail reception at 5.
Heck yeah! We will be offering a full bar of wine, beer, and spirits.
