We've known each other since the sixth grade at Highland Hills Middle School. In the eighth grade, Marah developed a 14-year-old-girl obsession with Harper and made it her mission to get him to notice her. It only took two years and a summer spent together at gym class and driver's ed for Harper to feel the spark too. Since then we've been through it all: getting braces removed, going to prom, choosing a university, maintaining a serious a relationship in college, struggling through our first big kid jobs and finally loving and succeeding in our current ones.

While we've no doubt become more and more like each other over the course of our nine-year relationship, the qualities at the core of our personalities are perfectly complimentary. When Marah is feeling stressed or anxious about the future, Harper helps her remember to live in the moment and be spontaneous. When Harper's creativity lacks direction, Marah helps him make a plan. We are constantly learning from each other and pushing each other to become better versions of ourselves.
