Yes, this is a formal attire event. For women, please wear formal floor-length or formal cocktail dresses. For men, tailored suits, dress shirts with neckties or bowties. We recommend women wear block heels since there is grass and pebbles in the garden. The ceremony and aperitif will be outside in the garden and the dinner and party will be inside the Villa. Please also keep in mind the average temperatures in June in Florence are 83° F during the day and can drop to 60° F at night.
Yes, we will have shuttle buses that will take our guests to and from the Villa. Please see details below: PICKUP- The shuttle will be picking up our guests information of the Grand Hotel Baglioni (Piazza Unità Italiana 6, 50123 Firenze ) which is 200 meters away from the Santa Maria Novella train station (Piazza della Stazione, Firenze). Departure will be at 4:30 pm exactly. Please arrive at the hotel at 4:15 pm. Please ensure you are on time since there will only be ONE departure at 4:30 pm. DROP OFF- Departure from Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte will be at 2:00 am when the party ends. Our guests will be dropped off in front of the Grand Hotel Baglioni. Taxis are rare during this time, so please book a hotel that’s not too far. If you’d like to reserve a taxi you can arrange this with your hotel, or you can let us know and our wedding planners can assist in reserving them as well.
Yes, there is parking at Villa Corsini. Please drink responsibly if driving after the wedding party. There are no taxis or public transportation in this area, so if you decide not to take the shuttle, please make sure you have arranged transportation in advance.
We recommend staying in the city center of Florence, anywhere near Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. This is close to the bus station where the pickup and drop off will be!
