Island View Beach Regional Park
One of our most frequented family walks along the beach. We often bring a little picnic (as seen in Jacks very happy face above).
Elk Lake
Right near the reception venue. Elk lake is often a place where we run (it’s a nice 10k loop) or take Alfie for off leash dog walks.
Thetis Lake
A beautiful hike (with swimming access). Lots of arbutus trees. One of the first places we took Alfie for a hike as a puppy. Do you think she liked it?
Hey Happy
Located in downtown Victoria, this is our favourite cafe! Delicious drip coffees and treats. Anytime we come downtown we stop at Hey Happy!
The Drake Eatery
Craft beer anyone? This spot is our favourite for a flight. Their food is also spot on and the vibe is very cool. As you can see, Jack is very pleased with his flight.
Nourish Kitchen & Cafe
If you are looking for a good brunch spot post wedding, go to Nourish! It’s located right downtown in a beautiful house. We stop here regularly when we are on the island.
Fisherman's Wharf
Lots of great eats here, right along Dallas road. You can grab some fish tacos then go for a nice walk along the water.
