After that date, any rooms still being held in the block will be put back into inventory and sold to anyone on the waitlist. If a person calls to make a reservation with the group after the release date they will pay the going rate for a room, not the group rates. Cancellation/Change policy: 7 Days Prior to arrival. That means that if a room night is to be dropped or a reservation is to be canceled it must be done no later than 7 days prior to the arrival date.

If you are looking to fly, the closest mid-sized regional airports are Albany International (ALB) and Burlington (BTV). Lake Placid is about a 2 hour drive from either. Adirondack Regional Airport in Lake Saranac (SLK) is about 30 minutes from Lake Placid. For general info, see the airport’s website, https://www.adirondackairport.com. This airport is served by CapeAir (www.capeair.com) from Logan in Boston and JFK in New York. Northern Lights Taxi & Delivery Services, (518) 897-9741, provides service from the airport to Lake Placid with a quoted price (as of October) of $42.50 per trip and may be booked in advance. The airport website advises that car and driver services are also available through Polar Express, (518) 327-3331, and that Uber and Lyft are available with a "limited" number of drivers in the area. Rental cars are available through Adirondack/Vermont Rental Cars, 833-RENT-SLK ((833) 736-8755).
