Our story goes back to our preschool years. And, as the story goes, we grew up in the same neighborhood, just one street apart. As classmates in PreK, 1st, and 4th grade, you could say our paths crossed many times. We went our separate ways in college and for the beginning of our professional careers, only to reconnect in San Francisco at the end of 2014. Though we hadn't spoken in all of those years, we still had a connection through Facebook. At one point, Mara had noticed a picture on Facebook of Adam and Murphy in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. Mara reached out to Adam to say hi and share that she was out there quite a bit for work and was looking to connect with friends. In early 2015, Mara and Adam had dinner together at Salt House. It was then that we knew we had reconnected for a reason. For two years we dated long distance and we flew back and forth each month until, finally, Adam and Murphy relocated to the East Coast in the winter of 2017. The rest is history!
