Steven & Stephanie's history starts way back to the high school days! They both had mutual friends that hung out together. The funniest part of this is....Steven and Stephanie did not even like each other. He thought she was a spoiled brat and she thought he was arrogant and rude. Fast forward light years into the future.... They are both in the dating scene, unfortunately giving the online dating a try. Stephanie happened to stumble across Steven's profile and knew exactly who he was. Her only thought was to send him a message just to see if that really was Steven Bell and see how he was doing. Stephanie sent a message and waited days for a reply. Steven apparently thought that she was plotting against him with other friends from their shared past to get back at him for breaking their hearts! He found the strength to hit the reply button not knowing what would come of it..... Steven invited Stephanie out on a date to Rick's Tavern, which she was already familiar with considering she grew up singing there. On their first date, Steven pulled up in his Ford Focus with the cute light up cup holders. (Stephanie loved those) When Stephanie went to open the door, she had to literally clean out his car just so she had a place to put her feet and purse. She looked at him and the first thing she said to him after all those years was, "Steven Bell, your car looks like sh*t." He didn't care, he turned on the radio and drove down Route 4. A familiar beat came on, both of them looked in each other's eyes and recited all the words without hesitation to "Ice Ice Baby" no rehearsal, no planning, no nerves, just two long lost souls rapping to Vanilla Ice. Steven and Steph have been together every day since.

Picture it.....Hamilton, 2019, a cold Christmas Eve night. The two lovebirds are celebrating the holiday season with Stephanie's family. Now lets rewind and let you know at this point, Stephanie has threatened Steven's life at least 5 times that if he does not plan on getting engaged....she may have to kill him. Steve knew that Christmas was Stephanie's favorite time of the year, so he had a plan. This did not work out exactly how Steven had planned considering someone else was planning on getting engaged also that same night. Stephanie's cousin Kyle asked for everyone's attention and he got down on one knee and asked his now wife to marry him. (Stephanie is already plotting how to kill Steven at this point) Steven waits a while and then finally decides to make a move. Her family gathers her up in the kitchen and asks her stupid questions to get her attention so Steven could get down on one knee. Stephanie turned around and there he was, on one knee, asking for her hand in marriage. Of course she said no.....he made her wait all those years....after quick consideration and knowing she was only pulling his leg, she said "YES" They have now been engaged for what seems like 30 years.....this wedding is WAY overdue!
