We first met in January 2016 during a work meeting for new hires, not knowing how far a simple hello would take us. Our shared love for nature brought us together through hikes and long road trips along the East Coast. After a year of friendship, we made our relationship official and have been inseparable ever since. We got engaged in March 2021 and are now excited to finally bring together our friends and family to celebrate our wedding… Somewhere along the way, we ended up with the nickname Mapache (Racoon). One morning, thanks to my super dark eye bags without makeup, I got called “Mapache” and it just stuck. Since then, we’ve been calling each other Mapa.
