Two strangers who became coworkers. Coworkers who became Friends & FRIENDS that helped each other out in the most toughest of time from tire changes & rides home to dating advice & shoulders to cry on. As we were both navigating through heartbreak & finding ourselves again we found each other. One hug sparked a love like neither of us ever knew. He had never been willing to give up so much for another or I let someone into my space & world. We neither have been able to communicate or have such openness until we became an US. We compliment each other in ways most people never find. We found our LOBSTERS!

We have been friends now for quite some time. I invited Kevin to many of parties at my house, this one in particular was an ugly Christmas sweater party! My first ever ugly Christmas sweater party by the way, I always wanted to go to one or throw one so I did. He walked in & like so many times before hugs me hello. BUT this time there was a spark! Both of us paused looked at each, laughed and went on our merry way! However, I caught a glare from one my best friends Nelly, & my mom said uh hmm! As night went on he flirted in ways more than usually. Probably two days later he asked me to have dinner together once again not unusual but something seemed different. I guess, I could say I could feel it. And the rest is history. We spent all winter together through the New Year, quietly enjoying each other’s company. All through summer doing anything outdoors from yard work to hiking & fishing. Come fall he asked if I was serious about one of us moving & his house went up for sale. He & his two dogs spent the holidays living with me. Especially after I had just lost my eldest pup, & it was easier to show without animas there anyway. Come the New Year his house sold & little bit after closing, Valentine’s Day he gave me a scratch off ticket worth a lifetime of US! Our families on both sides love scratch off tickets for the holidays. Well, he had one made especially for me. Scratch off three COINS in any direction and scratch off the prize in the box. In the prize box was the words WILL YOU MARRY ME! Best part of it all was how detailed he made my ring to incorporate US. From the color gold, to the branch details of the ring, & the fact it’s conflict free! Now for our NEXT CHAPTER! We can’t wait to see you all & begin it with ALL OF YOU!
