Indian clothes welcomed but not required, please see notes
Our wedding ceremony will be at a Gurdwara (Sikh Place of Worship). Breakfast will be served at the Gurdwara at 9 am. While attending any service at a Gurdwara, attendees will sit on the floor and have their head covered (head coverings will be provided) and their shoes off. There will be a few chairs toward the back of the prayer hall however it is expected to sit on the floor if you are physically able during the entire service. At the end of the service, prasaad will be offered to each attendee. This is a sweet food blessing that is offered to everyone and it is frowned upon if not accepted. If you have any dietary restrictions, please accept the prasaad and then give to Papa Bhardwaj. Please feel free to ask us any questions in regards to the ceremony. Everyone is welcome to this ceremony but I understand that these requirements may not be what you are accustomed to. If you are unable to attend the ceremony Friday morning, we will dance with you Friday night at our reception!
