We were set up on a VERY blind date. We knew nothing about one another, not even our names. Our philosophy was that people's magic should be revealed by themselves ... not by a Google search nor from a third hand perspective. Love is like an extraordinary book. Each page full of wonder, humor, mystery, passion and promise of the next chapter. That was our first page. A chair chivalrously pulled out. A shared love of Musee d'Orsay. Through magical means, Rob completely surprised me by arranging for the Musee d'Orsay to open up on a Monday, OMG! A private tour for my "early birthday present." Not a soul in the museum, as we floated through the arches, absorbed in each treasure. Last stop, the fabled glass clock overlooking Paris' magnificence. There, our guide apologized, needing to leave us for a moment. Upon her disappearance, my gaze returned back through the clock... Rob lowered down onto one knee. An exquisite ring, I never knew existed, appeared! My knees buckled. The proclamation of Rob's profound love, poured into my heart. Love in the purest form. I said "I DO...FOREVER..."
