We first met in January 2017 at what used to be 24 Hour Fitness in Rosenberg. I (Ganessa) spotted Manny near the squat racks—blue Under Armour tennis shoes, and a golden brown beard lit up perfectly by the gym lights. I immediately thought, “One day, I’m going to marry that guy.” For a minute there I thought I had imagined him because none of my coworkers knew who I was describing. One fateful night my coworker came to me and said “OMG I think I know who you’re talking about. He is a friend of a friend” and she provided me with his Snapchat. Fast forward through missed connections, fishing trips, and life’s twists and turns—we made it official on January 27, 2019. Our journey has been real—not always a fairytale—but full of love, growth, and a lot of laughs. Manny came into our relationship as a dedicated single dad to his mini me, and in March 2023, we added one more piece to our family puzzle with the birth of our rambunctious son. On January 27, 2024, surrounded by family and friends, Manny proposed—and now we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you!
