Each was born in a Connecticut town, Jimmy's hospital, just four exits down. Four exits, four years, what is the difference? Well, plenty of jokes sure came to existence. Big thanks to Jack, for bringing their families together, Shout out to Chris, for knowing no two could be better. It was at Duke's on 3rd where Christina & Jimmy got talking, Eventually, they realized their friend Chris had gone walking. It didn't take long for the two to fall in love, "You too" they would say with a playful shove. Jimmy bought a ring and Christina keeps on smiling, They moved to Stamford and are suddenly rhyming!
To the Future Mrs. Brennan, It was way back when, December 2013, that I met the girl who would forever change my life. I thought I knew what I wanted. Turns out that everything I ever wanted was on the other end of a simple phone call. I started coaching college baseball at my father's alma mater, journalism degree in hand and constantly looking to get my feet wet at any kind of media outlet that would give me an opportunity. It was the best of both worlds. Though it was infant, my career was getting started. It was an incredibly exciting time in my life. Then the phone rang. Major League Baseball was on the other end of the line. Not in the way that it had back in 2009, but the thrill remained the same. There was an opportunity to interview for a position I knew very little about. As happy and content as I was, it was something I couldn't pass up. So I interviewed. And I got it. But did I want it? I called back, ready to turn the position down. I was doing something I loved and getting ready to do something I knew I would be good at. But the person on the other end of the line wouldn't have it. Coaching would be there. Radio would be there. Major League Baseball however wouldn't always be there. She was right. Six months later, my career had changed. I was introduced to a whole new side of a business that I never really knew existed. Two months after that, in October of 2014, I started at MSG and have never looked back. That girl on the other end of the line had changed my life. In September of 2016, through our friend Chris, I reconnected with that same girl. I couldn't thank her enough for everything she had done for me, so I bought her a chardonnay. It didn't take me long after that to realize, Christina Manto was the girl I was going to marry. Everything with you is easy. The best is yet to come. Love ya. JB
