We met in January 2023 one fateful day at the Hockessin Athletic Club Gym. Isabella had recently joined and was working out with a friend one fateful day when she met Adam. Adam remembers seeing a very pretty girl laughing and full of life talking to her friend. He swears she was glowing and felt like a light was shining on her and something was telling him to talk to her. He approached her and said something really corny (he was a little nervous) but Isabella thought he was cute. He completely forgot to ask for her number. He thought he’d see her again later in the week. 3 weeks passed and no sign of her. Adam was at the gym one day and looks down a hallway and noticed a girl looking at him but quickly looked away. He couldn’t see who it was but went to go say hello. IT WAS HER!! He got her phone number and planned their first date. She called him the day of the date 4 hrs before and cancelled! She had a last minute business trip to Miami. She sent screenshots with her boss Harold and asked to reschedule. Adam shrugged it off and wasn’t sure what to think. They had their first date at lemons and capers in Wilmington. It was going to be a quick 45 minute date turned into 3 hours and the rest is history.
