On the wedding day, the bride's side will wear shades of light pink and the groom's side will wear shades of sage green. However, you are more than welcome to wear any colour you desire!
The Anand Karaj is the Sikh wedding ceremony, held in the presence of the Guru Granth Sahib Ji at the Gurdwara. It is a peaceful and spiritual ceremony that focuses on the union of two souls as one. You may find more details on the ceremony itself on the Schedule Tab. However, kindly note the following : - All guests are required to cover their heads and remove shoes before entering the Gurdwara. - Please dress modestly and respectfully (no skirts, dresses or shorts) - When you will first arrive, you may head downstairs to the Langar Hall for breakfast. - When it will be time to enter the Darbar Hall, you may provide a small donation to the temple at the same time. - Guests will sit on the floor, crossed-legged. Men will be seated on the right side of the hall and the women will be seated on the left side of the hall. - Prasad and Langar will be served after the ceremony. *Please note that alcohol, tobacco and drugs are strictly prohibited.
