I was out with my friend Nikki for Karaoke night at a local bar, when I saw this bearded handsome guy running the DJ booth. I told my friend I though he was really cute, and she said she knew him. "PERFECT", I thought. She introduced us, and no sparks... just a very short exchange about a Taylor Swift song. I had lost my moment to wow him!! Months later, with a few DM's on social media, Matthew asked me out for an open mic night. That night was the last night either of us considered ourselves single. We were inseparable. He met the kids shortly after (who LOVE him), and the rest is history.
