Lincoln Park Zoo

The Lincoln Park Zoo is a great free activity to do while here in Chicago. One of our first dates was here for the Zoo Lights during the winter of 2018. After Zoo Lights we walked 2 miles in the freezing cold (Christian wearing dress shoes and no hat) to the Portillo's downtown on Ontario Street.

Wrigleyville

Unfortunately the Cubs will not be in town during our wedding weekend, but Wrigleyville is still a great place to check out with everything from the Historic Wrigley Field, to great food and bars, to bowling! During Game 7 of the 2016 World Series, Emma was spotted tickling Christian's feet, completely unaware that she would be tickling those feet for life! Go Cubs Go!

Riccardo Trattoria

Great Italian Restaurant in Lincoln Park and the place Emma and Christian had their last meal before Christian got down on one knee at the Lincoln Park South Pond.

Sapori Trattoria

Christian took Emma here for their first date and she ordered a salad and filled out a review card. A few months later, she got a coupon with a nice note from the chef/owner.

Pizza Lobo Andersonville

Fun pizza spot that is different than the typical Chicago style pizza. Pizza Lobo also has a fun patio with games and fire pits. We highly recommend their Borgata pizza! They also have a location in Logan Square.
